We are seeking a detail-oriented database/spreadsheet savvy individual to join our team as an E-Commerce Data Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing and managing the data/content readiness of our e-commerce website. Your primary focus will be product data curation, transformation, and optimization to accurately reflect our offerings and drive client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Content Curation: Source and curate relevant product content from various suppliers and PIM data provider to keep the catalog data current.
•    Product Search Optimization: Optimize onsite product search by incorporating relevant keywords, product attributes, and other search prioritization methods.
•    Product Presentation: Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to ensure accurate product information, pricing and feature-focus on the website.
•    Data Management: Manage content by updating SQL automation workflows, import/export and transformation of database/Excel curated data, and other data maintenance and validation processes.
•    Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the performance of digital content, search activity, and sales results using analytics tools to report to sales and identify opportunities for improvement.
•    Content Maintenance: Regularly review and update existing content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and compliance with brand standards.

Skills

Data Management & SQL:
•    SQL automation workflows
•    Managing and transforming data in Excel/Access

Advanced Excel & Data Analysis:
•    Using formulas, pivot tables, and macros for data curation
•    Data validation and maintenance

E-commerce & Content Management:
•    Familiarity with e-commerce platforms

Product Search Optimization:
•    Incorporating keywords and attributes for search enhancement

•    Basic HTML for minor fixes

•    Handling large datasets efficiently

•    Working with cross-functional teams
•    Managing product presentation with marketing and product teams

Experience Needs:

Data Management & Transformation – Experience handling and processing large datasets using Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and SQL (queries, automation workflows).

Product Data Sourcing – Previous experience in gathering and curating product data, preferably for e-commerce platforms.

Search Optimization – Knowledge of keyword research, product attributes, and prioritization methods to enhance onsite search functionality.

E-Commerce Content Management – Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and product information management (PIM) tools.

Performance Tracking & Analytics – Experience monitoring digital content performance, analyzing sales and search activity, and providing actionable insights.

Collaboration & Communication – Experience working with cross-functional teams (marketing, product teams, IT) to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business goals.

Basic HTML Knowledge – Ability to make minor fixes to product descriptions and formatting as needed.
