Intake Specialist (On-Site)
In this role, you will assist injured workers who contact our line. Callers may be reaching out immediately after an injury to speak with a nurse for triage, or to report a prior incident and begin the workers’ compensation process.
All callers are U.S.-based employees, as workers’ compensation applies under U.S. labor laws. Depending on the situation, callers may be experiencing high levels of stress, pain, or anxiety.
This position requires a strong balance of empathy, professionalism, accuracy, and compliance to ensure that every caller feels supported while all required information is gathered correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls and guide injured workers through the reporting process
- Collect and accurately document all required information
- Provide clear and professional communication while demonstrating empathy
- Follow compliance guidelines and internal procedures at all times
- Route calls appropriately (e.g., nurse triage or reporting process)
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Requirements:
- Advanced English level (spoken and written)
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, call center, or healthcare-related roles
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Ability to handle high-stress or sensitive situations with professionalism
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Basic computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
- Availability to work on-site and flexible schedules (including weekends, if required)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in workers’ compensation, healthcare, or insurance
- Background in intake, dispatch, or claims handling
- Experience working with U.S.-based customers
Compensation
$700 USD per month
